The topic of discussion: Should standalone vision plans be excluded from Insurance Exchanges? VSP answers “no,” it poses a great risk to the access doctors have to patients. AOA answers “yes,” arguing the current healthcare delivery system segregates “vision” from “eye health.”|
■ The Association of Schools and Colleges of Optometry (ASCO) announced it has established ORMatch, the new Optometry Residency Match which replaces the Optometry Residency Matching Service, a program that was administered for more than 30 years by Dr. Charles Haine. The new program will allow ASCO to work directly with the residency community.
