Plugs in pairs
Oasis
now offers the Form Fit punctum plug in a two-pack box, so eyecare practitioners
have the alternative of purchasing Form Fit one pair at a time. Form Fit plugs are
made of a hydrogel material and come pre-loaded on a user-friendly inserter. In
their dry state, they measure 3mm in length and 0.3mm in diameter, expanding to
20 times (in volume) their original size.

a division of Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, announced that its Acuvue Advance
Brand Contact Lenses for Astigmatism are now available in a full range of parameters.
These include plano to –6.00D in 0.25D steps (Cylinders:
0.75, –1.25, –1.75; Axis: 10� to 180� in 10� steps); –6.50D to
–9.00D in 0.50D steps (Cylinders: –1.25, –1.75; Axis: 90� and
180�, ± 20, no obliques); and +0.25D to +6.00D in 0.25D steps (Cylinders: –0.75,
–1.25, –1.75; Axis: 90� and 180�, ±20, no obliques).
The AcuVue Advance for Astigmatism is indicated for daily wear.

"The
Trivex Material Edge," CD provides instruction on how to maximize edging results
with Trivex lens material. Because the material features unique properties, PPG
Industries (in conjunction with A.I.T. Industries, Briot, Gerber Coburn/Essilor,
Lab-Tech, National Optronics, Santinelli International/Nidek, Satis-LOH and Topcon
America Corp./ ODI) produced the CD, which offers information and demonstrations.
The CD will be the first in a series of educational tools PPG
plans to launch on achieving optimal results with Trivex material.

elegance." With lockable sliding glass doors framed with metal extrusions, it is
