Minimize eye strain

The Makrolux features ridges on the bottom of the lens that keep it 1mm off the reading surface to prevent scratching.

Eschenbach's new LED bright field magnifier, the Makrolux, is designed to reduce fatigue and strain for low vision patients. It features a 2.2X magnification lens that's lit by bright LED illumination, as well as a rectangular 9mm x 30mm viewing area that's easy to navigate across lines of text; the width of the reading area covers the column width of many newspapers and magazines. Additionally, the forward-tilted, angled lens supports a comfortable reading position.
