Miru 1month, from Menicon, is a monthly replacement silicone hydrogel lens. It is available for patients who have myopia, hyperopia, astigmatism and presbyopia. It utilizes MeniSilk and Nanogloss proprietary technologies.
VisoPOCKET, from Eschenbach Optik of America Inc., is a folding magnifier with an ultra-thin lens. It offers 2.4 times magnification, or 6.00 D, and a leather case. Its large, 2.9 in by 1.9 in, diffractive aspheric lens provides a wide field of view.
