Optometric Management: Hi, I'm Sarah Fackler. I'm the managing editor of Optometric Management magazine, and I'm here with Stacey Winter, president of Luminous North America, at the Luminous Accelerate Owner's Summit in Chicago to talk about a few takeaways that Lumenis is hoping attendees will gain from the show this weekend.
Stacey Winter: We're thrilled to have everyone here on site. We really value our partnership with the optometric community, and we want everyone to feel amazing about the technologies that they've invested for their practice and for their patients. Doctors and practitioners are on site here this weekend learning how to capitalize on all the investments that they've made to be able to deliver more treatments with greater confidence for great results for more patients.
For doctors who own our OptiLight technology, we know that they've been successfully treating their dry eye patients for some time now. Many are on site learning how to do additional aesthetic applications, and there's an opportunity to introduce some additional treatment modalities to their practice, so we want them to get everything they can out of the technology. We know that optometric aesthetics is definitely a growing space where there's a lot of interest and patients feel comfortable and confident with their eyecare providers. It's a great place to introduce a new aesthetic application that they're going to feel confident and comfortable in the results that they're going to get.
