Hi, everyone. Great to be here. My name is Dr. Masoud Nafey, and I'm here to talk to you a little bit about the most common AI models or large language models. These are platforms that you can use either for free or use the pro versions for roughly $20 a month. That’s pretty much the standard fee for all these models.
With the pro versions, you will get faster processing power, the latest and greatest models, and more functionality. You'll have more features available to you, and you'll be able to use the model’s computational power more. You’ll be able to process more data, and you won't get that error message saying you ran out of usage. So all of these that I'm going to speak about have a free version you can use, but the pro versions with those additional features are about $20 a month.
At number 3, we’ll talk about Google's Gemini. Google is great and always trying to lead in its own category. I would say Google has always been great at functioning really within Google Workspace, so Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Drive. Gemini has that integration for obvious reasons, and it's got that down really well. So for productivity, when you're in an organization that uses a lot of Google tools, Gemini is the best, hands down, especially when you want to use this AI model to share and collaborate.
A lot of you may already use Google Workspace for your practice. If your practice email is powered by Google in a Gmail email account, that Google Workspace means you probably already have Gemini Pro, what you would normally pay $20 for, so you have a whole suite of Gemini tools available to you and you might not even know it. You're probably going to love using this if you’re not already.
You can give Gemini access to all your emails if you'd like. I personally don't do that, but you can, and it can summarize and do a bunch of great things for you. Otherwise, I do love to use it for Google Docs, Google Sheets, and things like that and collaborate.
Now, before OpenAI came out with their ChatGPT image generation tool, Gemini was leading the pack, hands down. They have a tool called Nano Banana, which I love that name. If you have the pro version, Nano Banana is 1000% one of the best image generation tools in all the AI models. If you need a new cover for your book that you're writing, or you want to recreate your logo or icons for your website, it’s 100% an excellent tool for that. It can also help you envision what changes in your practice might look like. Let’s say that your practice is painted all white right now, and you want to paint it Tiffany Blue. You can upload a picture to Gemini and ask it what that would look like, and it can do that for you. Or maybe you want to change the furniture in your waiting room. Again, you can upload pictures of what it currently looks like, give it the options you’re looking at, and ask it to replace your current furniture in the picture. It's an excellent editing tool and it’s great for image generation. Some argue it's still best in class because it's been doing it better for such a long time.
