Based in Goodyear, Arizona, the company will manufacture custom GP lenses to practitioner specifications while providing consultation on lens design and fitting. Its initial portfolio includes ortho-k lenses for refractive correction and myopia management, as well as scleral lenses for patients who have keratoconus, irregular corneas, ocular surface disease, and post-surgical corneal conditions.
Aurora GP Lab's leadership team includes CEO Mark Cosgrove, Chief Innovation and Technology Officer Sukhdev Gill, OD, and Chief Compliance Officer Randall May. According to the company, the team's experience spans specialty contact lenses, medical device development, manufacturing, regulatory compliance, and commercialization.
