Bausch + Lomb has announced the US launch of Blink Triple Care Preservative Free lubricant eye drops. According to a company press release, the new product uses the same clinically proven formula as Blink Triple Care and is designed to reduce dryness, improve comfort, and increase vision quality. The preservative-free formulation provides moisture retention for up to 10 hours of dry eye symptom relief.
“Prolonged screen time and environmental factors are driving an increase in dry eye symptoms, and consumers are looking for products that fit their needs and preferences,” said John Ferris, president at Bausch + Lomb, in the press release.
The lipid-based, water-based formulation is enhanced with a natural oil to help reduce tear evaporation and hyaluronate, a substance naturally found in the eye that helps support hydration, the company explained. Together, these components create what Bausch + Lomb calls a dual-action moisture seal that is intended to provide immediate and sustained relief while helping prevent tears from evaporating too quickly, which may be especially relevant for patients with sensitivities to preservatives and for those with evaporative dry eye, Jessilin Quint, OD, MBA, FAAO, co-owner of Smart Eye Care in Augusta, Maine, added in the press release.
Blink Triple Care Preservative Free eye drops are expected to be available by the end of June 2026 through major retailers nationwide, including Amazon, CVS, Target, and Walgreens, as well as through online channels.OM
