Euclid Vision Corporation announced that Be Free Day toric lenses have received US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) clearance and will be available in the United States in fall 2026. The Be Free Day (toufilcon B) daily disposable soft (hydrophilic) contact lenses with multifocal toric designs are FDA cleared for daily wear for the correction of refractive ametropia (myopia and hyperopia) and/or presbyopia in aphakic and/or non-aphakic persons with non-diseased eyes in powers from +6.00 D to −12.25 D and with nondiseased eyes who may require a reading addition of +0.25 D to +3.00 D and have −3.50 D of astigmatism or less.
Built with technology from the Brien Holden Vision Institute, the new multifocal-toric lens option combines the optical design and properties of Be Free Day spherical lenses with toric correction for patients with astigmatism.
Eyecare practitioners looking to familiarize themselves with Be Free Day lenses ahead of the upcoming toric lens launch can request their spherical trial kits at EuclidLenses.com/BeFreeDay.
