A: My favorite toy was my first doll that my mom got me that was a life-size doll...
Q: What was your very first job?
A: My very first job was in high school working at a department store... So it was in retail and you know as a cashier I was in the woman's department in the shoe department.
Q: What profession other than optometry would you like to try?
A: Well since I've been told that I talk a lot, I was really thinking about this podcast thing and seeing just how I can be impactful in that arena. So that's something I'm really really thinking about. The other one that I thought I would be was a lawyer. I feel like I could make a good persuasive argument.
Q: What activity do you turn to the most when you're bored?
A: My daughter will tell you that I'm on my iPad and usually when I'm on my iPad I'm reading a good book...
Q: What is a food combination that you cannot support?
A: Pouring ketchup or hot sauce on eggs. I never understood that.
Q: What is the most random fact that you know?
A: I may have to come back to that one because you put me on the spot and there's so many facts.
Q: If you could be the best in the world at something, what would it be?
A: The best mother. I'm so amazingly blessed to have 2 beautiful children and I think it's such a responsibility to be such a inspiration to them, so to be the best mother.
Q: What movie plot would you like to live out?
A: My favorite movie of all time is "Pride and Prejudice," so if I could be Elizabeth and find my Mr. Darcy I would love to do that.
Q: What book would you like to be a character in?
A: Again "Pride and Prejudice." I think that what Elizabeth represents for me is the strength of a woman. The fact that she didn't feel that she needed a man to define her or needed someone else outside to define who she was...
Q: What is a piece of clothing that you can't part with?
A: I tend to wear a lot of sweaters. I tend to wear a lot of slip-on shoes...
Q: What is your biggest pet peeve?
A: Rudeness and impatience with people...
Q: What superpower would you like to have?
A: ... Strength to lift up those that are down and downtrodden... I think that would be the ones that power I would love to have...
Q: What is something that is popular today that you'd like to see become obsolete?
A: The TikTok trend of the water bottles.... I just don't understand the need for my students to have those water bottles in clinic... I just want it to subside a little bit.
Q: What celebrity would you like to meet the most and why?
A: Oprah Winfrey and Michelle Obama. I have to say that I look at Oprah's story of perseverance... I would just like to pick her brain. I would love to talk to Michelle Obama just to see the similarities in our lives that kind of intertwine I would love to interview those two individuals.
Q: What invention would you like to have never been invented?
A: I feel like we have to really navigate this AI world a little bit carefully because it kind of scares me a little bit ...

A: I loved Geometric Optics... The professor challenged me...
Q: How many slices of pizza can you eat during one sitting?
A: Just one. I have no relationship with pizza...
Q: What ice cream flavor do you think is overrated?
A: Mint chocolate chip... I'm just not a fan. I'm just a chocolate girl. I love chocolate ice cream and butter pecan ice cream.
