Eaglet Eye has been awarded the 2025 British Contact Lens Association (BCLA) Industry Award. The award honors organizations that have made significant contributions to anterior eye care through innovation, research, and education.

Eaglet Eye is being recognized for more than a decade of innovation in specialty contact lens fitting, specifically their Eye Surface Profiler (ESP). The ESP is a commercially available device that captures full corneo-scleral elevation data. It has significantly enhanced the precision and efficiency of fitting a wide range of lenses, including scleral lenses, orthokeratology lenses, gas permeable lenses, hybrid lenses, and custom soft lenses.
This technology enables eyecare professionals to achieve a higher rate of successful fittings by offering a more complete understanding of the eye’s anterior surface, including the scleral region.
Arnoud Snepvangers, Eaglet Eye CEO and cofounder, expressed gratitude for the international recognition: “This award is a tribute not only to our team’s dedication, but also to the many researchers, educators, and clinicians around the world who saw the potential of profilometry early on and helped move it forward,” he said in a press release.
Eaglet Eye affirmed its ongoing commitment to global collaboration with eyecare professionals, researchers, and industry partners. The company’s goal is to help make profilometry a standard of care in specialty lens fitting worldwide.
