Two notable figures in the eyewear industry, Ben Rollins (Axon Optics) and Dan Bruton (SportRx), have acquired Eyenavision—the company behind the patented Chemistrie magnetic clip-on lens system, according to a press release.

Since its introduction in 2008, Eyenavision’s Chemistrie Clips have evolved the traditional clip-on lens model into a precision-fit magnetic system. Designed to integrate with any prescription frame, Chemistrie Clips offer sun protection lenses, reading magnifiers, lenses for migraine and light sensitivity relief, blue-light blocking options, color-deficiency correction, and 3D viewing capabilities. The system has been adopted among eyecare professionals in North America and abroad.
Dan Bruton will serve as Interim CEO. He and Mr. Rollins aim to expand Chemistrie into new markets while maintaining Eyenavision’s established values of quality, innovation, partnership, and accessible pricing. The company’s full staff and customer service infrastructure will remain intact during the transition.
In the press release, Mr. Rollins outlined new products, such as driving lenses and sports lenses, that are slated for launch in the coming months. “These updates give eyecare professionals more tools to serve patients, boost revenue, and stand out in a competitive market,” he said.
Outgoing CEO and founder Joe Zewe will assist in the transition. “I am proud of what our team has accomplished,” he said. “I believe that under the leadership of Dan and Ben, the team at Eyenavision will achieve even greater success.”
