Registration has opened for the 2026 Retina Summit, a 1-day continuing education program focused on retinal disease, scheduled for April 18 in Indianapolis.
The event is organized by the American Academy of Optometry and presented by its Retina Special Interest Group. The program will offer 6.5 hours of COPE-accredited continuing education, with sessions covering retinal diagnosis, imaging, and disease management.
Mohammad Rafieetary, OD, FAAO, and Roya Attar, OD, MBA, FAAO, will present on topics such as diabetic retinopathy, advanced multimodal retinal imaging, age-related macular degeneration, and inherited retinal diseases.
The meeting will also include time for attendees to interact with exhibiting companies presenting new technologies and clinical tools related to retinal care. Organizers say the event is designed to support clinical decision-making, co-management strategies, and awareness of emerging developments in the field.
The summit will take place at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown. Registration is priced at $299 for Academy members and $399 for nonmembers, with meals and networking events included. A discounted hotel rate is available through March 26, and space for the event is limited. OM
