Professional Eye Care Associates of America (PECAA) announced that registration is open for its 2026 Annual Meeting, scheduled for May 17-19 at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego. The meeting will bring together PECAA Max members, including eyecare professionals and their teams, for 3 days of education, peer discussion, and networking. Programming will include curated educational tracks that allow attendees to follow a single learning path or select sessions across multiple tracks to create a customized schedule. Clinical education offerings will include COPE-accredited continuing education for doctors, along with business-focused education for managers and staff.
“The PECAA Annual Meeting is about bringing doctors and their teams together for 3 days of camaraderie and idea sharing so they feel connected to a supportive community of their peers,” says PECAA President Jonathan Worrall. “From our customized learning paths and peer-to-peer sessions to the keynote speakers, PECAA Max members will leave with new tools to set their own unique course toward meaningful practice growth.”
The agenda also includes expanded peer-to-peer roundtable sessions led by doctors, covering operational and clinical topics such as revenue cycle management, staffing strategies, and dry eye care.
Keynote speakers include skateboarder and entrepreneur Tony Hawk and adventure racer, firefighter, and author Robyn Benincasa. Hawk will address themes related to transformation and long-term growth, while Benincasa will focus on resilience, teamwork, and leadership. An on-site Partner Pavilion will feature PECAA vendor partners presenting new products and services.
In addition to educational programming, the meeting will include organized social events, including a member and vendor appreciation event aboard the USS Midway Museum in San Diego. Through PECAA Gives, attendees will have the opportunity to support a local nonprofit organization: The 2026 beneficiary is Urban Surf 4 Kids, which provides surf therapy, mentorship, and life skills programming for youth in foster care and other at-risk communities.
